The team at Wahlstrom Financial Services proudly continues our support of the Youth in Union organisation, and the great work they do in the pacific islands, empowering underprivileged youth to be the best they can be through health and sport’
Youth in Union is a not for profit organisation with an aim to develop the talents of the youth and the underprivileged through sports and education to enhance their future and eliminate prejudices
Pacific Islands are home to some of the most beautiful and generous people, who pride themselves on culture and family. The youth of these islands are often underprivileged and left without the bare necessities to strengthen their athletic talents, to enhance their future and bring unity. Youth In Union founders Eddie Aholelei and Lachlan McCaffrey have a strong passion for youth work, coaching and mentoring.
Together with the Tonga Rugby Union, Youth in Union are now partnering with Ministry of Education and Training Tonga to provide resources and Sports & Physical Development to Primary schools throughout Tonga. For the first time these kids will have proper equipment and training to help with their physical and personal development.

In addition to the great work they do in the area of sporting development, Youth In Union, with the assistance of their supporting partners, were able to help with the recovery from the Hunga Tonga Ha’apai volcano eruption and tsunami through the provision of 2 x 40ft shipping containers of supplies. These supplies aided the relief effort for the Tonga Tsunami appeal and development program.
We are proud to support the great work this organisation continues to do. If you would like to know more about Youth in Union and the difference they’re making, please check out their website or facebook page.
